Starting Up

I have recently taken the first steps onto the career ladder, finally concluding many years in education. However, I have realised that learning does not stop once you leave University. Although I was well aware of this when I decided to go into the occupational psychology field, I still find the amount of learning I am yet to face quite an overwhelming thought.

Before I consider how to push myself further in my career, I really want to enjoy exploring some of my passions. I have always been an individual with a creative side, and I enjoy sketching, decorating and make up. With adulthood edging ever closer I really wanted to see how much I can achieve, by exploring my creative nature, before beginning my next educational challenge.

Being a make-up enthusiast and a keen online shopper, I have watched many make up tutorials on YouTube and seen plenty of recommendations for new beauty blessings and I do enjoy reading through reviews before deciding whether to go for a new purchase.

My main aim in 2015 is to set up a forum where people can quickly gain access to reviews of products from people with similar skin tones or skin types. In doing this I hope that they can compare an array of products and easily select the one that suits them best. I think as a young person there can be pressure to spend money on lots of expensive products; this is not always possible and definitely not sensible. In the past I have spent a lot of money on buying new products as I love to try out new things. However, products may not live up to all they claim to be, often products which are highly recommended by a person with a different skin tone can look ashy and wrong on your skin.
